Gifter.ly is a platform that allows brands to run influencer gifting social media campaigns easily and efficiently. The brands will offer free products and samples to influencers in exchange for the influencers posting about the gifts they receive on their social media channels. The brand will give a list of tasks they would like the influencers to do, for example, follow a certain account and make a post with certain #tags.

Gifter.ly is free for Influencers. Gifter.ly is also free for brands to try. In the free version brands are limited to working with up to 10 influencers and there is no influencer discovery or outreach. 1. Go to https://app.gifter.ly/signup and signup for free by creating a username and password or using one of the social logins.
2. Go to the Account Details tab and add your logo that you would like the influencers to see and click save changes.
3. From this Account Details tab you can also click the Change Package button to upgrade your account features.
4. Go to the catalogue tab and add products that you want to offer as gifts to influencers. You can create manually or import from Magento, Shopify or a csv file. If products have different options such as sizes please be sure to create each size as a separate product so that the influencers can select the sizes they need. 
5. Go to the Campaigns tab and click the +Create button.
6. Give the Campaign a name such as Nike Gifting Campaign. Please use text and numbers only.
7. Select the countries that you can send gifts to.
8. Select the products that you would like to offer as gifts on this campaign from the drop down.
9. Enter the number of posts that you would like the Influencer to create. We recommend to only request 1-2 posts if the gift is small as influencers may be reluctant to work with brands that request too much in return for too little.
10. Please enter the list of tasks that you would like the influencer to complete followed by a comma after each task. For example:
    
    Follow @myinstagramname,
    Post a picture or video on your Instagram feed wearing the product and in the post tag @myinstagramname and #yourbrand,
    Make an Instagram story wearing the product and in the post tag @myinstagramname and #yourbrand,
     
11. You will now see the campaign in your campaign list. Click the copy icon to get the unique campaign URL that can be sent to influencers to invite them to join your campaign.
12. Go to the Influencers tab to see influencers that have joined your campaigns.
13. If you have a paid package you can now request influencer discovery and outreach. Click the Outreach button on the influencer tab at the top and fill in the details. The discovery and outreach will take several days.
14. As influencers join the campaign the influencer list will update. As they complete each task the task list will update.
15. Click the 3 dots under the Option column to see the following:
    – Reject Application – If you do not wish to work with this particular influencer.
    – View delivery address – To see the address where the influencer would like the gift posting to.
    – View media URL – Once the influencer has created a post you will be able to see a link to the post here.
    – Send Magento / Send Shopify – If you have linked your Shopify or Magento store you can click here to create an order in your store so you can process and ship it. The tracking number will then be sent back from your store to Gifter.ly after you ship the order.
    – Report Influencer – If the influencer claims they have finished the tasks but you can not see they have been done please report them and we will reach out to them.
    – Mark As Complete – Once the influencer has completed the tasks the status will change to pending completion. Please check the tasks have been done and then click this button to confirm the tasks were done.
    – View Request Comment – If there is a problem with the gift like it does not fit or did not arrive the influencer will notify you. Click this button to see what the issue is. You can then choose to send a replacement, or send them a return label if you wish for them to return, or even just cancel that deal.
    – Contact influencer – To message them through the message system.
    – Give feedback – Once the influencer has completed the tasks please rate them. For your next campaigns you will be able to invite influencers that only received a particular star rating. 

• Gifter.ly can currently integrate with Shopify and Magento 2. If you would like to integrate with a different shopping cart get in touch and we can build the integration within a couple of days. The capabilities of the integration are:
• Products can be imported from your store into Gifter.ly.
• If the stock quantity of a product changes in your store it will automatically update in Gifter.ly.
• When an influencer selects a product the order can be created in your store so that it can be processed through your normal systems.
• Once the order has been shipped the status on Gifter.ly will automatically changed to shipped and the tracking number added.

To link your store to Gifter.ly click Catalogue in the left menu and then click either the Shopify or Magento button.

Shopify Integration

1. Log in to your Shopify Store.
2. Click on “Apps” in the left menu at the bottom.
3. Click on “Apps and sales channels settings”.
4.  Click “Develop apps for your store” if this is your first integration or click “Develop apps” if you already have other integrations.
5. If this is your first integration you will need to click “Allow Custom App Development” on the next page and again on the page after that.
6. Click “Create an app”.
7. Enter an App name like “Gifter.ly” and enter your email address.
8. Once you’ve created an app, navigate to the “Configuration” tab and select “Configure” in the “Admin API Integration” section.
9. Under “Admin API access scopes”  tick the following options:
   read_assigned_fulfillment_orders
   write_assigned_fulfillment_orders
   write_customers
   read_customers
   write_discounts
   write_draft_orders
   read_draft_orders
   read_inventory
   write_orders
   read_orders
   write_payment_terms
   read_product_listings
   read_products
   write_order_edits
   read_order_edits
   write_shipping
   read_shippingClick the Save button once done.
10. Go to the “API Credentials” tab.
11. Click the “Install” button and then click “Install” again on the confirmation page.
12. Your “Admin API Access Token” will be generated. Click on ‘Reveal token once’ and you will see the token which should be copied. IMPORTANT – Please make sure to copy and save a copy of the token and you will not be able to view it again in Shopify. If you loose the token you will need to start again and recreate the app to get a new token.
13. In the Gifter.ly dashboard click the Catalogue tab and then click the Shopify button.
14. Enter your store URL like “yourstore.myshopify.com” and the Admin API Token from step 12.
15. Click Submit and that’s it. If you have a large catalogue it may take some time to import all the products. Once imported you can remove any that you do not want to offer to Influencers as gifts.

Magento 2 Integration

You will need to create a Magento Access Token in your Magento store by following these instructions:

1. Login to your Magento store.

2. Go to System > Extensions > Integrations.

3. Click Add New Integration to display the New Integration page.

4. Enter a unique name for the integration (e.g. ‘Gifter.ly’)

5. Enter your admin password.

6. Leave all other fields blank.

7. Click the API tab and select the Magento resources the integration can access (we suggest to just select all).

8. Click Save and return to the Integrations page.

9. Click Activate.

10. Click Allow and a window will popup showing the Tokens. The one you need is the 3rd one down called “Access Token”.

11. In the Gifter.ly dashboard click the Catalogue tab and then click the Magento button.
12. Enter your store URL like “yourstore.com” and the Magento Access Token from step 10.
13. Click Submit and that’s it. If you have a large catalogue it may take some time to import all the products. Once imported you can remove any that you do not want to offer to Influencers as gifts.

If the influencer has an issue with the product they will submit this to you via the system. You will receive notification in your dashboard that there is an issue. You can then choose to either send a replacement or cancel the relationship with that influencer.

Go to the influencer list in your dashboard and click the contact button next to the influencer you would like to contact.
